Sea Glass

Australia’s first, entirely circadian rhythm lighting for a multi-residential project.

Comprising 24-storeys and 35 luxury apartments, including a 3-storey penthouse, LA Lounge collaborated with Rothelowman and DVB Projects to deliver a refined lighting design. This project comprises a minimalistic ceiling design, with seamless inset plaster lighting which complements the panoramic coastal views. The lighting approach was tailored to enhance architectural features and support the unique function of each space, from wellness areas to entertainment spaces.

At the heart of the design is the circadian rhythm lighting, which aligns with the body’s 24-hour clock. Designed to promote both health and wellness benefits, circadian rhythm lighting transitions throughout the day to enhance mood, improve sleep quality and boost productivity. Dynamic colour temperatures also enrich interior finishes, with cool light accentuating blues and warm light highlighting rich red and orange tones, creating a harmonious and sophisticated living experience that integrates wellness, architecture and lighting.
